The Anubias barteri var. nana is a small yet very visually appealing plant that is easy to take care of and maintain because it is able to thrive in virtually all types of ecosystem environments. Originating from Cameroon, this illustrious plant is capable of reaching 10 centimeters in height, with the rhizome measuring an additional 10 to 15 centimeters. As a fairly slow growing species, this plant is best kept when planted next to a rock or tree root and attach with fishing line so that the roots have a chance to gain hold to the substrate. The flowers of the plant bloom well when submerged under water, and it thrives well when habituating with herbivorous fish.
