The Anubias "nangi" was discovered by the formal owner of "Quality Aquarium Plants" nursery in Florida, Robert A. Gasser (1922-2002), as he created as a hybrid and cultivation. Since 1986, this plant has been a favorite in the trade but has emerged more recently as a little-known rarity. The shiny, dark green leaves have a bullous appearance, which makes it a great plan to be used in the midground and foreground of an aquarium scenery. While it is a very good slow-growing plant, it is very easy to take care of, and it is very suitable for a cram usage as it thrives well in underwater environments.
