The Christmas moss is a popular moss. Its popular name, Christmas moss, refers to its shoots that indeed look a little like the branches of a fir tree.
It is often seen used on branchy driftwoods to create a BONSAI tree look. It has a triangular leaf shape and resembles a Christmas tree, hence the name. As with most mosses, it does better in water that is not too hot (78F or lower).
In the aquarium it can be attached to rocks and driftwood with a thin nylon thread. Under moderate to strong light it reaches its full beauty. Very impressive: a moss wall.
