This is a cultivar of the popular aquarium plant referred to as Creeping Jenny. It has a sightly golden shade. It requires pretty hight amount of light because of the light colour of it's leaves and it's quite undemanding. It is slow growing and forms a nice bush. It also holds on to its older leaves and is not too prone to algae.

It is regularly used as an ornamental plant in gardens and is very well-suited for planting the corners of a garden pond and also as ground cover on normal, not really moist ground and even as a hanging plant. In early summer it has many golden yellow flowers.
