This intensively coloured plant with its green and brown colour nuances is a lovely, widely extensive Cryptocoryne spp. from Sri Lanka, and has been a staple inside the aquatic plant hobby for over sixty years. It could be found (nevertheless usually available under its misnomer) at most stores that sell aquatic flowers.

Attractive plant with olive green-red-brown leaves. A plant that is easy to grow, even though it is pretty slow to develop, but comes on well with proper substrate nutrients. Will stand quite hard water.
