Mondo Grass is a clump forming decorative grass that needs little care once properly established. It has dark green grass-like foliage, and the plant produces blue berry-like seeds which adds to the appeal, eventhough it is usually grown for its foliage.
it is a really perfect groundcover, and looks wonderful planted next to a pathway or other borders. Its most unusual use is to fill the gaps between stepping stones and pavers. It does fine in a semi shaded area, however will grow in either sun or shade.
