The appearance of Littorella uniflora makes it an easy to recognize aquarium plant.
It grows wild on lakeshores of Europe, North america and South of America. Tolerates pretty low light intensity, but this may add to the longevity of the leaves.
Littorella uniflora is appropriate for terrarium and garden ponds, too.
