Amazon Compacta sword (Echinodorus bleheri 'compacta') is a fantastic little amazon sword plant. It's moderately hardy, it is undemanding and very easy to grow. Use it as a foreground plant in a huge aquarium and a midground plant in a small aquarium. Like any sword aquarium plant, fertilization within the substrate is needed.
