Alternanthera Reineckii ( Purple ) is light hungry and as long as light needs are met it will reward you with dark red/purple leaves. It is a stem plant and will grow directly towards the light source, it needs Co2 to become strong and healthy as well as a good source of micro nutrients, without this they will grow limp and pale. It can be propagated by cutting and replanting and this is best done in bunches. This plant can also be grown immersed
