In planted tanks, Amblystegium riparium also identifies with Leptodictyum riparium and is known as a stringy-moss that grows upright. Although it is known as a stringy-moss, it is not “stringy moss” or Drepanocladus aduncus.

Maintenance for riparium is simple and it has a moderate growth rate, making it a good plant for those starting out.
