A lovely plant with little round leaves, fitted perfectly for little or extensive aquariums.

Heminathus micranthemoides is a spreading plant native to North America.

If planted densely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow upright in the aquarium. If planted loosely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow in a spreading fashion. The amount of light can also influence the growth of Baby Tears. The higher the light the more likely it is to spread. (Now also available in "pots", see our "potted plants" section)

Note: Not to be confused with: "Giant" Baby Tears(Micranthemum umbrosum)
