Lobelia cardinalis, additionally referred to as "Cardinal Flower," is usually observed growing emergent along streams, ponds, and waterways. Place it submersed in the home aquarium, its stems produce vibrant green leaves with scarlet purple undersides.

Give Lobelia cardinalis "Dwarf" mild to high lighting to save them from wilting. CO2 injection is fairly endorsed for success, together with masses of micronutrient dosing. This precise stem plant grows upward at a slight pace, producing side shoots and numerous white roots on the nodes.

The Cardinal Plant's sluggish and dwarf growth makes it perfect for mid- floor placement to feature density and interest to planted aquarium shows.
